Adithya Kothakota is the Co-founder of Urban Folk Project. He has been an accounting professional for about a decade. Born and brought up in Bangalore, he spent a brief period in Australia to pursue his education. He used to work with one of the Big4 accounting firms and then an IoT startup before deciding to start UFP with his partner Shilpa. Doing this full-time, Adithya is closely involved in the research and documentation activities as well as performing with Shilpa. Drawn to percussion, in ‘Yellamma and Other Stories’ he can be seen playing the Jaalra (Indian Cymbals) and lending his voice to the chorus.
