C.K. Meena is a Bangalore-based journalist and author who worked in The City Tab and Deccan Herald. She co-founded the Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) in Bangalore, where she taught for six years. Since 2000, when ACJ moved to Chennai, she has been a freelance — teaching journalism in local colleges and writing features and columns for various publications. Her fortnightly column "City Lights" ran in the Bangalore Metro Plus supplement of The Hindu for 14 years. Dronequill has published three of her novels: Black Lentil Doughnuts, Dreams for the Dying, and Seven Days to Somewhere, as well as a book on adoption which she co-authored. A travelogue is with the publishers and she is now working on a book on disability and inclusion in India.
