Giulia Ambrogi is a contemporary art curator committed to spread the culture of public and urban art, with a focus on the Italian and Indian landscape. She has curated and initiated few Street Art festivals in Italy in 2007 such as Memorie Urbane in Gaeta and Sanba in Rome. She has taught Management of Cultural Heritage at Il Sole24ore Master Classes.
In 2014, she co-founded St+art India Foundation, India’s first platform for urban and public art. Since then, she has been working in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore curating various public art projects. In 2016, she curated India’s first art district in Lodhi Colony, Delhi and went on to curate Maqta Art District in Hyderabad and Mahim Art District in Mumbai in 2017. Along with these projects, she also has curated experiential street art exhibitions such as WIP: The Street Art Show in New Delhi and Sassoon Dock Art Project in Mumbai.
