Ravichandar is a self-described civic evangelist and ‘Patron Saint of Lost Causes’, who of late feels more like the Town Crier. He has been active on city issues in Bangalore and other cities since 2000 including as a key member of the Bangalore Agenda Task Force (BATF) during 2000-04. He is now part of multiple social and cultural initiatives – Bangalore International Centre; Vidya Poshak, Samhita Academy, Akshara Foundation; Bangalore Literature Festival, Takshashila Institution among others.
