Bio
Bulbul Sharma is a painter and writer based in New Delhi. She has published 21 books, including My Sainted Aunts, The Perfect Woman, Anger of Aubergines,, Banana Flower Dreams, ShayaTales and Devi, Eating Women; Telling Tales, Now that I am Fifty, Tailor of Giripul and Grey Hornbills at Dusk, Murder at the Happy Home for Aged, Love and Learning under the Magnolia. Her books have been translated into Italian, French, German, Chinese, Spanish and Finnish.
Her books for children are Fabled Book of Gods and Demons (Puffin) and The Children’s Ramayana (Puffin), Walking through the Hills (Tota Books), Secret Tales from the Himalyas ( Goodearth) and Fantastic Creatures from Indian Mythology (Puffin), Dancing with birds (Speaking Tiger), Between Heaven and Earth, co-edited with Ruskin Bond (Speaking Tiger)
