Krishna Kolhar Kulkarni with Vikhar Ahmed Sayeed
Bio
Dr Krishna Kolhar Kulkarni is Director of FG Falakatti Research Centre, Director of Adil Shahi Literature Translation Committee, and heads the Bijapur chapter of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH). He is the author of 80 books, including 14 on Dasa Sahitya, and translations from Marathi and Dakkhani. Active in fields ranging from rehabilitation and resettlement, to education and folklore studies, he has been honoured with the ‘Kanaka Shri’ for his work on Dasa literature, and recognized as ‘Gamaka Mahipati’, for his contributions to the art of poetic recitation as exponent and teacher.
