Bio
Shubhrangshu Roy is a US-based storyteller and poet. His latest work Shadows of the Fragmented Moon, launched in May 2022, is a composition of 108 mystic chants that navigate ancient Indic thought to plunge deep into the human psyche. His first book Zara’s Witness, published in March 2019, is a work of mythical literature that reimagines India’s ancient wisdom texts as a contemporary lore exploring the human soul.
Hey, Ze!, a modern epic drama in two volumes is due for publication as a web series soon. The work relocates India in the midst of its contemporary civilizational shift. Roy is currently working on his next project to explain the true essence of Hinduism to Hindus.
In his previous avatar, Roy was a successful business journalist and newspaper Editor in India for three decades. In 2008, he launched the Financial Chronicle in collaboration with The International Herald Tribune.
