Bio
V. Sudarshan is a writer and journalist.He is the author of the nonfiction works Anatomy of an Abduction: How the Indian Hostages in Iraq Were Freed (Penguin India, 2007) and Adrift: A True Story of Survival at Sea (Hachette India, 2013). His most recent books on true crime are Dead End: The Minister, the CBI, and the murder that wasn’t ( Hachette 2022)and Tuticorin ( Juggernaut 2022).
Over the course of his journalistic career, he has worked at The Indian Express(Chennai), The Pioneer (New Delhi), Outlook, The New Indian Express (Chennai) and The Hindu (New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai), where he has written extensively on, among other topics, Indian foreign policy, espionage, security and Kashmir. In addition, his articles have been published in The Tribune, Telegraph, The Asian Age, Deccan Chronicle and The Citizen.
