Alankrita Amaya is an award winning children’s book illustrator and writer, with a portfolio of over 30 books for publishers like Hodder Education, Room to Read, Tulika and Pratham. Her books include Little Laali, Muft Ki Kulfi, Gutargoo and Boodabim to name a few.
Growing up with a steady diet of picture books, Alankrita found her life’s calling in storytelling through illustrations. Today, it doesn’t feel like work to her at all. She spends her days imagining and illustrating new worlds in her cozy home studio in Bangalore, where she lives with her husband and cat.
