Bio

Amrita Tripathi is a writer and award-winning journalist working in social media. A former news anchor and Health Editor at a national news channel, Amrita set up The Health Collective, a website dedicated to raising awareness on Mental Health and Mental Illness from an India lens. The site now features close to 450 stories, including original reportage, stories of lived experience, expert columns, and comics. Amrita also conceptualised the three-part ‘Mindscape’ series of books, to focus on Mental Health. She is the co-author of Real Stories of Dealing with Depression (2019), Young Mental Health (2020), and Age of Anxiety (2021), co-authored with psychologists Arpita Anand, Meera Haran Alva and Kamna Chhibber, respectively. She has written two novels, Broken News and The Sibius Knot, and tweets @amritat.
