Bio
Anushka Jasraj is a fiction writer based in Mumbai. She holds a BFA in Film Production from NYU and a MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas-Austin, where she also received a degree in Gender Studies. She. She was a 2015-16 fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts and has twice been awarded the Asia Regional Commonwealth Short Story Prize in 2012 and 2017. Principles of Prediction, a short story collection published by Westland in November 2020, was her first book.
