Award-winning author Devika Cariapa trained as an archaeologist before she found her calling in making the world of archaeology accessible for children.
Her works of historical non-fiction have won the Sahitya Akademi’s Bal Sahitya Puraskar 2019, The Hindu Young World-Goodbooks Award, the Neev Award and the Times of India AutHer Award. Her latest book, A Children’s History of India in 100 Objects explores our rich material culture through objects ranging from prehistoric to contemporary times.
