Fiona Fernandez

Bio

Fiona Fernandez is Associate Editor at Mid-day, Mumbai. Through her reportage and her weekly column, Bombaynama in the newspaper, she offers a 360-degree deep-dive into Mumbai’s urban history and cultural heritage. Her new book, H for Heritage: Mumbai aims to introduce the subject to new audiences, especially young adults and curious minds. It is the first in a series that will travel to other Indian cities. Her previous stints with Bournvita Quiz Contest and Disney Adventures offered valuable insight while researching this book.
She is also the author of Bombay Meri Jaan and Ten Heritage Walks of Mumbai, and was co-researcher for The Mumbai Factfile.
