Bio
Gopalkrishna Gandhi read English Literature at St Stephen’s College, Delhi. A former administrator and diplomat, he has written a memoir, The Undying Light; translated The Tirukkural from Tamil into English and Vikram Seth’s novel A Suitable Boy into Hindi; authored a novel, Refuge; and a play in English verse, Dara Shukoh. He is Distinguished Professor of History and Politics at Ashoka University.
