Jyotsna Ramesh

Bio

Jyotsna Ramesh is a multimedia artist based out of Bangalore, India. She is a storyteller at heart, working across various visual art mediums (animation, illustration, comic-making, print, photography), writing & research. She is also an art-educator with her own documentary design research practice. She is a graduate from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Her practice merges design thinking & the design process with the artistic expression of her personal life; exploring themes around intersectional feminism, gender, queerness, mental health & culture. She believes very deeply in the power of storytelling, in reshaping the world, individually & collectively. She is passionate about Art & Design in the South Asian & Indian context.
