Krishnan Srinivasan is a former foreign secretary who has published nine books on world politics, the last being Power, Legitimacy and World Order (2023), and eight novels, the latest Kolkata Crimes (2025). His novels have a retired Somali diplomat as the lead character, and range from international crises to investigation of unsolved murders.
