Bio

Maithri Arunkumar is amma to 2 little humans. As pediatric ophthalmologist by profession, she loves looking into children’s eyes but as a writer by passion, she escapes into the world of words often. Her work has come out in anthologies and as articles in the newspaper. Her collection of poems was published in 2023 and now she has come out with her first picture book for children called Putti Gets Glasses. When she’s not working or writing, you can find her sipping on hot chocolate or relishing a slice of cake.
