Critic and scholar. He has edited Shambajoshi works in huge volume and written a scholarly preface to that. Recipient of Karnataka Sahitya Akademi honorary award and Rajyotsva award. At present he is vice-chancellor of Karnataka Sanskruta university. He has more than ten books are in his credit.
