Bio
Manish Gaekwad has been a reporter, is a screenwriter and author. He recently worked as a senior script creative at Red Chillies Entertainment. He has co-written She on Netflix and was the script consultant for Badhaai Do. He has previously worked for Scroll.in, Mid-Day and freelanced for The Hindu. His recent memoir, The Last Courtesan, based on his mother’s life as a tawaif has been published by HarperCollins. They also published his 2018 novel Lean Days.
