Manju Kapur’s Difficult Daughters, won the Commonwealth Prize for best first novel, Eurasia region. Her books have been shortlisted for the Encore Award, the Hutch-Crossword prize, the India Plaza Golden Quill Award, and the DSC Prize of South Asian Literature.
Her work has been translated into German, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Hebrew, Marathi, Malayalam & Hindi.
