Nitin Kushalappa

Bio

Nitin Kushalappa M P is the author of ‘A Hoysala Adventure’, a historical fiction for kids published as part of the ‘Girls of India’ series by Puffin Books. He also authored a collection of 15 regional folktales adapted for children, ‘Dakshin: South Indian Myths and Fables Retold’, published in 2023, again by Puffin Books. This book won him the Sahitya Akademi’s Bal Sahitya Puraskar for English this year. His various articles have been published by the Deccan Herald under the name Mookonda Kushalappa. Kushalappa has authored nine books on different topics so far.
