Phalgun Gouda Achave is a lecturer in Kannada at the PM Pre University College, Ankola in Uttara Kannada district. His collection of poems, Mamuli Maleyalli, was published by the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Bengaluru. He has also published a collection of essays, Ashantha Kadalu Prashantha Mugilu, a collection of poems, Chowkimane, and a collection of stories, Bakkemara. His stories, poems, articles and reviews have been published in almost all the Kannada newspapers. His stories and poems have been broadcast from All India Radio centres in Karwar, Dharwad and Bhadravati. He wrote the song lyrics for the movie Antyavalla Arambha. He has received many awards and felicitations.
