Bio
Pragya Bhatt is an international yoga teacher and writer. She was born in Delhi and grew up in different countries due to her father's work as a diplomat in the Indian Foreign Services. Her first book "Beyond Asanas: The Myths and Legends Behind Yogic Postures" was published in 2019 by Penguin.
Pragya worked as a software engineer for companies such as Infosys and Accenture, before hanging up her business suit to immerse herself full time into the practice of yoga. She is currently pursuing a master’s in yogic studies.
Pragya lives and works in Bangalore, but is frequently found elsewhere because of a penchant for spontaneous travel. She regularly contributes to newspapers and periodicals and is a compulsive blogger and diarist.
