Writers of divergent genres, Raghu and Pushpa come together to write historical novels. Their very first co-authored book “The Case that Shook the Empire,” published by Bloomsbury, has been made into the critically acclaimed film Kesari 2 produced by Dharma Productions and starring Akshay Kumar, Madhavan and Ananya Pande. They have co-authored three more historical novels: Destiny’s Child and God’s Own Empire, both published by Penguin Random House and their upcoming fourth novel, based on the life of the formidable Shaktan Thampuran, is set to be released by Bloomsbury in early 2026.
Pushpa Palat’s writing career spanning over four decades began as a freelancer, contributing to esteemed publications like The Times of India and The Economic Times. Her journey expanded to include roles with a Delhi-based travel publishing house and a Hong Kong based travel newspaper. Transitioning into the digital realm, Pushpa created compelling content for luxury and hospitality brands.
Raghu Palat has written over 45 bestselling books on banking, shares, investments, taxation and management skills. He has written for numerous publications such as the Economic Times. Business India, Business World, Midday and Times of India. His book on the Bank of India was released by the President of India. He has also had books released by the Union Finance Minister and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
