Bio
R. Raj Rao is the author of six novels, six collections of widely anthologized poetry, two collections of short stories, two collections of plays, two books on queer studies, a train memoir, a biography of Nissim Ezekiel, and a co-translation of Laxmi Narayan Tripathi’s autobiography. He is the recipient of a number of prestigious international fellowships, and has been a professor of literature for 45 years.
