Bio
Rachna Singh Davidar has been a bookseller for almost 40 years. She’s worked and managed bookshops in New Delhi, London, and Toronto, including The Book Shop in New Delhi, which has been owned by her family for over 50 years. She served on the board of World Literacy of Canada, a non-profit that ran education programmes for underprivileged kids in India for seven years. She is currently the Programme Director of Lit For Life, The Hindu’s festival of literature, and a Director of Aleph Book Company.
