Bio
Reena Ittyerah Puri is the Executive Editor of Amar Chitra Katha. She has worked with the company for 33 years, spending the first 15 with Tinkle comics, and working with the Founder Editor, Anant Pai.
She learned from Uncle Pai, as he is called, how to communicate with children more effectively and how to use the comics format to engage with children and pass on some fun and learning. She took over as Executive Editor of Amar Chitra Katha in 2008 and leads the team in content creation.
Her special skills lie in storytelling, comics scripting, editing, planning visuals and understanding comics illustrations.
