Prasad is a social media evangelist and an IT professional. Born and bought up in Bengaluru he has an BE & MBA degree. He is the co-founder of www.kannadabaruthe.com / www.iKnowKannada.com, an initiative to help non-Kannadiga friends learn spoken Kannada. His team has also launched an android app and undertakes various other initiatives in the virtual & real world to promote the cause. They are also in the process of introducing a new & effective way of learning Kannada for Kannadiga’s themselves, specially focused at metro crowd who can speak Kannada but are challenged in reading and writing Kannada effectively. He is a very strong proponent of a non-fanatic & inclusive approach to promote Kannada.
