Rudraneil Sengupta

Bio

Rudraneil Sengupta is an independent journalist based out of New Delhi. He writes for Hindustan Times, Times of India, Mint, and The BBC, and makes documentary films for Al Jazeera. His journalism is focused on social and human interest stories, crime, and sports.
His first novel, The Beast Within, was published in 2025. He is also the author of Enter The Dangal: Travels Through India’s Wrestling Landscape, a non-fiction account of India’s wrestling culture.
