Sameer Arshad Khatlani is a Delhi-based journalist with the Times of India (TOI)’s national and international news gathering team, where he commissions, edits and rewrites news stories. He has regularly done reportage besides writing features and opinion pieces for TOI, The Economic Times, The Times Crest and The News International. National politics, South Asia with Pakistan in particular are his main areas of focus along with human rights, Kashmir, minority affairs etc. Sameer’s forthcoming book focuses on humanitarian disaster in Kashmir and puts it in historic perspective from the vantage point of having grown up in the Valley.
