Bio
Sara Rai is an Allahabad based writer, literary translator, and editor. She has published four collections of short stories, and a novel in Hindi. She has translated from Hindi five collections of short stories into English, most recently Vinod Kumar Shukla’s Blue is like Blue (with Arvind Krishna Mehrotra, Harper Collins 2019).
Her memoir Raw Umber (Westland 2023) is her first original work in English.
