Shilpa Rao

Bio

Shilpa Rao is a full time mom and a development finance professional based out of Bangalore, India. She loves nothing more than to cuddle up on a couch and read quirky books with her five-year-old son. While not working, she can be found lazing in Cubbon Park, gardening in her balcony, being the sous chef to Neel’s cooking experiments or going on long drives and hikes around Bangalore’s outskirts.

Her first children’s picture book: “The Magic Couch – Adventures with Thatha” has been published by Speaking Tiger publications. The book is a dedication to her father and the relationship he shares with her son, inspired almost entirely by true events!
