Bio
Tayenjam Bijoykumar Singh, an engineer by profession, was born in 1957 in Imphal. He writes short stories, poems and non-fiction in English and Manipuri. He has four books to his credit, two Manipuri short story collections and two books in English ‘Manipur Trilogy’ (English translation of Ratan Thiyam’s Manipuri Plays) and ‘Ramu Prasad’s Angel (short story collection). His winning entry in the Sulekha.com-Penguin Online Writing Contest appears in Blogprint, an anthology of winning entries published by Penguin Books. He received the Katha Award for translation in 2005.
He is an active member of North East Writers’ Forum.
