Brief: Petu Pumpkin and his friends unearth a sinister conspiracy involving their beloved school playground. There is only one thing to be done: draw inspiration from the country’s founders and fight for their rights! But can our ragtag bunch of 5th graders withstand all the challenges hurled at them? Will the Awesome Fivesome save their playground?
About the Director: Rahul Maru is a 17-year-old homeschooler who studies theatre with Kirtana Kumar’s Theatre Lab (Youth). After acting in a bunch of plays, most notably as Bérenger in Ionesco’s Rhinoceros, he’s now directing this adaption. He loves guitar, doing math for fun, and torturing his parents with his jokes.
