Tina Shashikanth

Bio

Tina Shashikanth hails from the Malnad region of Karnataka and works as a journalist in Bengaluru. She has authored a book of short essays titled Kanna Koneya Kitaki (ಕಣ್ಣ ಕೋಣೆಯ ಕಿಟಕಿ). Her poems deal with a variety of thought processes and disciplines, especially the scientific. Her works are built on urban, sensual themes. She prefers to work through various aesthetic approaches and is fascinated by experimental, modern approaches to literature. New discourses in Kannada literary theory as well as practice interest her.
