Bio

Vinod Pande was a civil servant with the British Government, broadcaster with the BBC, maker of documentaries and several ad-films, owner and creative director of an advertising agency and finally the producer, writer and the director of his first Hindi feature film, Ek Baar Phir, which was huge success. He went on to make eight more films, including Yeh Nazdeekiyan and SINS. He also made four TV serials, including Air Hostess and Reporter. He headed as Chief Commissioning Editor and Director of Programmes the launch team of a private network TV in India during the late nineties. He has been the chairman of the jury of several important film awards events, including the committee for selecting the Indian entry for the iconic Oscar Awards, more than once. He has written Don’s Wife and Saanvri: The story of a Concubine, and is presently completing his 3rd novel, Destiny.
