Anna Solding is the founder and director of independent publishing company MidnightSun Publishing. Anna is also the co-founder and director of the Australian Short Story Festival.
She has travelled the world as a publisher, partaking in delegations to China, Korea and India, and she has published many books that have been shortlisted for or won awards, both in Australia and internationally. A writer and editor, Anna has a Masters and a PhD in Creative Writing from The University of Adelaide and is the co-founder of two literary magazines.
She loves stories that have language that sings and characters that sweep you away.
Kanishka Gupta is a literary agent, writer and publishing commentator best known for his internationally acclaimed series for Scroll.in called ‘Publishing and the Pandemic’. He is the founder of Writer’s Side, the largest literary agency and consultancy in South Asia. Gupta has been credited for single-handedly popularising literary representation in the subcontinent. His first novel was longlisted for the Asian Booker Prize in 2009 and was published in 2010.
Rahul Soni is Associate Publisher, Literary, at HarperCollins India. He has also edited the anthology of Hindi poetry in English translation, Home from a Distance (2011), and translated Shrikant Verma’s collection of poetry, Magadh (2013), Geetanjali Shree’s novel The Roof Beneath Their Feet (2013), a selection of Ashok Vajpeyi’s poetry A Name for Every Leaf (2016), and Pankaj Kapur’s novella Dopehri (2019).

Shantanu Ray Chaudhuri
Shantanu Ray Chaudhuri is a books editor, publisher, writer and critic. In 2017, he was named Editor of the Year by the apex publishing body, Publishing Next. He contributes regularly to a number of publications. He is also a published author, with two books to his credit: Whims – A Book of Poems (published by Writers Workshop) and Icons from Bollywood (published by Penguin/Puffin).
