Ashadevi is a well-known critic in Kannada. Ashadevi is known for her feministic approach. She teaches Kannada literature and culture in Maharani’s Women’s College Bangalore.
She has authored three books, attended several national and international seminars and received the prestigious G.S.Shivarudrappa critic award for her contribution to Kannada criticism.
