Bio
Poet, storyteller, columnist and critic Geeta Vasant is an Assistant Professor at the D.V.G. Kannada Adhyayana Kendra, Tumkur University. Her notable works include ‘Choukattinaacheyavaru’, ‘Hosilache Hosa Baduku’, ‘Parimalada Beeja’, ‘Belakina Beeja’, ‘Bendre Kavya – Avadhuta Pragne’, and ‘Hosa Digantada Hosa Daari’. She is a recipient of many awards including the Patilaputtappa Katha Award, the Devangana Shastri Literary Award and the Ratnamma Hegde Award. Her interests include literary criticism, philosophy, and cultural and women studies.
