Gurcharan Das is a commentator and author of nine books. He studied philosophy at Harvard, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa for high attainments in liberal scholarship. He was CEO, Procter and Gamble India. His latest books are a memoir, Another Sort of Freedom and The Dilemma of the Indian Liberal.
