Kishore Ram, author of The Dead Know Nothing is an academic from Kollam, Kerala. He holds a Ph.D. in English and has done post-doctoral research in film studies. His academic work and writing focus on postmodern, queer, and political themes in literature and film. A recipient of the UGC Research Award, he is a Professor in the Department of English at
MMNSS College, Kollam, and serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Studies for English at Sree Narayana Guru Open University.
