Liz Mathew has been in journalism, covering national politics, for 29 years and with The Indian Express since 2014 . She has covered eight consecutive Lok Sabha elections, multiple assembly elections and all the major political developments in the last two and a half decades. Currently, Deputy Editor of The Indian Express, she writes on the ruling BJP and the Lok Sabha. Liz is always excited about the new turns and twists in national politics and eager to understand the nuances of politics in the Hindi heartland as well as in the southern states.
