Mili has been learning Bharatnatyam under the tutelage of Guru Vidushi Poornima Sankar Kaushik for the past six years. Her dedication and skill have earned her a place in the Surya School of Performing Arts ensemble, where she regularly performs among a talented group of dancers. As a Grade 9 student at National Public School, Indiranagar, Mili balances her academic commitments with her deep passion for dance, showcasing her discipline and determination.
A significant milestone in her Bharatanatyam journey was completing her Salangai Pooja, a meaningful ceremony in the dance tradition.
For Mili, dance is more than being just an extracurricular activity; it is her medium of storytelling, a way to channel emotions, and a profound creative outlet. Beyond Bharatnatyam, Mili continues to explore and experiment with different styles of dance, broadening her artistic horizons.
