Mukund Padmanabhan is a Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the newly-established Krea University. He is the former Editor of The Hindu, one of India’s largest and most respected newspapers. He was appointed to the post in 2016 after having been Editor of the business daily, The Hindu BusinessLine, a sister publication from the same group. As a journalist, Mukund has written extensively on literary, legal and political subjects. The Great Flap of 1942, a narrative history centred around the Second World War, is his first book.
