Nayanima Basu has extensive experience of writing on international affairs, strategic issues, geopolitics, business and trade relations. For more than two decades, Basu has worked at senior editorial positions in prominent mainstream Indian as well as international media organisations such as ABP Network, ThePrint, Business Standard, Bloomberg and The Hindu. She has also contributed articles to several independent international publications.
Her ground reportage from Afghanistan during the takeover by Taliban won her praise from
several media organizations and geopolitical experts. Her recently published book The Fall Of Kabul: Despatches From Chaos by Bloomsbury India has received several accolades in Indian as well as the international press.
