Bio

Pervin Varma worked in advertising with Lowe- Lintas before moving to CRY-Child Rights and You where she worked in various capacities before taking over as CEO.
Since CRY she has been a consultant in the development sector working with various NGOs, CSR and Public- Private initiatives. She also worked with the Tata Institute for Social Sciences on a project led by Dr Monica Sharma author of the book Radical Transformational Leadership (RTL), focussed on building leadership for large scale change.
Since 2012 she has run music sessions with senior citizens at the Holy Spirit Home in Bangalore, forming and conducting their choir called The Choir of the Loaves and Fish!
Pervin serves as a Trustee on the Boards of CRY, Dream a Dream, Pratham Books, Lighthouse Communities Foundation and Citizens for Peace (CFP)
