Radhika Chadha - Bangalore Literature Festival (BLF)

Bio

Radhika Chadha is an author, innovation consultant, and artist.

She is the creator of the much-loved Baby Bahadur Books series, the first of which – I’m So Sleepy – is in its 11th reprint and celebrates turning 20 this year. She has also written the picture book Basava and the Dots of Fire, and the story-poem A Well is Born that is part of the Water Stories anthology of world myths. All of these have been published by Tulika and translated into several languages, Indian and foreign. The Baby Bahadur series was listed in Young Zubaan’s 101 Indian Children’s Books We Love.

Radhika teaches the module on Writing KidLit at the Bangalore World-Famous Semi-Deluxe Writing Programme. She is the author of Intelligent Investing (Wheeler Publishing) and Innovative India (Penguin), which explores innovation in the context of corporate and national culture. She co-authored the script for Mandukya Sant Vani – a musical production by Sunaad – and is currently working on a book of short stories and poems.

Having studied under noted artist Carol Cole, Radhika hopes to hold her first show of
mixed-media sculpture using handmade paper and found objects in the new year.
