Bio

Raza Naeem is a Pakistani social scientist, book critic, and an award-winning translator and dramatic reader currently living in Lahore, where he is the President of the Progressive Writers Association. His most recent work is an introduction to a reissued edition of Abdullah Hussein’s classic partition novel The Weary Generations (Udas Naslein), HarperCollins, 2016. A number of his translations of Urdu short stories have appeared in Out of Print.
