Sandeep Shikhar has been an actor, writer and theatre practitioner for three decades. He has acted in national and international forums/stages under reputed directors of the country. He is a member of the Lincoln Centre Director’s Lab, New York, since 2012. He is a three times nominee for Best Actor in a lead role in Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards 2013, 2015, and 2018. He is a recipient of Vinod Doshi Fellowship Award 2016-2017. Of the five plays he has written, ‘Treadmill’ was selected for the First Festival of contemporary Indian Theatre in Paris, 2013. He is a core member of Anjuman, a Hindi-Urdu Writers Collective in Bangalore. His noted works in Web-series and films are available on various OTT platforms.
