Bio
Shubha Sanjay Urs is an entrepreneur, short story writer and textile consultant. Thanks to her passion and love for reading, Shubha pioneered book clubs in the city of Mysuru as a platform for book lovers of the city to get together. Today, Mysuru boasts of several book clubs in English and Kannada, including for children, in differently abled schools. Shubha iserves as a committee member at International Music and Arts Society and The Vani Vilas Club and was recently conferred the Karunada Rathna award.
She is the founder and director of Mysuru Literature Festival, the Mysuru Sahithya Sambrama and the Mysuru Children’s Literature Festival.
